Charity Bike Ride joshua lancaster foundation

Sunday 22 September 2019

About the Event

Last year just a month after we announced The Joshua Lancaster Foundation a very special group of friends completed a bike ride to show their support and to help us with our fundraising. This bike ride meant so much to us, so much so that we have decided we want to make it an official annual charity event.

This year the event is open to you all so please join our 30 mile round bike Ride Sunday 2...2nd September 2019.

The challenge will start at our Home in Ellenbrook, Worsley. We will be setting off at 10am and will have 2 scheduled stops along the way. First stop is Haigh Hall where refreshments will be provided by our volunteers, then onto Rivington Barn where refreshments and toilet facilities will be available. Finally you will cycle back to the finish line, The Boundary Stone in Worsley to collect your certificate of completion, there will also be a buffet available for all our cyclists and volunteers to enjoy together.

We do not expect everyone to cycle the full course as we know it will be quite a challenge, if you want to get involved but feel the full course is too much then please still join in and cycle as little or as far as you can, we appreciate everyone that gets involved and you will still be provided with a certificate of participation.

Please click the link below to register if you will be cycling with us this year. Once registered we will send you a sponsor pack that will include a detailed map of our planned route.

All cyclists that collect sponsors will have a Joshua Lancaster Foundation Charity t-shirt provided free of charge on the morning of the bike ride so please make sure you tick the size you require when registering.
